We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Manufacturing Operations Manager to lead our production facility in Burnfoot, County Donegal.
This role requires a strategic leader with a proven track record in managing high-performance teams, driving operational excellence, and delivering change in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, inspire, and develop cross-functional teams to achieve operational targets and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Oversee daily manufacturing operations ensuring safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives are met or exceeded.
Champion change management initiatives, implementing process improvements and lean practices to drive efficiency and delivery.
Collaborate with senior leadership to align operations with overall business goals and strategic plans.
Monitor KPIs and performance metrics, using data to guide decision-making and improve outcomes.
Lead, coach, and supervise production team leaders and staff.
Coordinate with procurement, engineering, and logistics teams to maintain seamless operations.
Prepare and present production performance reports to senior management.
Manage production budgets and control costs effectively.
Drive employee engagement, training, and development programs.
Champion operational excellence and foster a culture of accountability and teamwork.
Key Qualifications
Proven leadership experience in a manufacturing or production environment, or similar.
Strong track record of building and sustaining high-performance teams.
Demonstrated success in leading change and implementing continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma qualifications).
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Bachelor's degree in engineering, Operations Management, Business Management or related field (preferred).
Will accept expert industry related experience in lieu of Third level qualifications.
