The GRS team helps clients with the practical, regulatory, compliance and administrative requirements associated with the cross-border marketing of investment funds globally. Our team includes specialist regulatory and compliance experts in cross-border investment fund distribution offering coordinated approach to fund distribution.As a Global Fund Registration Specialist, you will report to the Head of Global Registration Services.You will manage a portfolio of clients and be responsible for advising clients on the legal, operational, and regulatory aspects of cross-border fund distribution and ongoing maintenance of fund marketing licencing in multiple jurisdictions. Your portfolio will consist of both open and closed-ended fund structures domiciled in onshore and offshore jurisdictions of predominately EEA, UK, Swiss and US asset managers.Primary responsibilities include:As a subject matter expert, you will advise and assist client in their cross-border marketing efforts of a range of fund structures, including onshore domiciled UCITS, ETFs and AIF and offshore domiciled hedge and private equity type fundsPrepare and co-ordinate cross-border fund registrations and post-registration projectsBe the day-day-to-day client trusted advisorParticipate and deliver quarterly compliance reports/updates to clients and their boardsCollaborate with internal teams and clients on cross-border marketing activitiesUtilise project management skills to ensure efficient execution of tasks and projectsTrack and stay up to date on developments effecting the cross-border distribution of fundsDeliver training and contribute to the development of more junior team membersEvaluate and incorporate feedback and lessons learned from projects, and ensure continuous improvement and scalability of business solutionsPromote a culture of curiosity and innovation across the team, by encouraging awareness, engagement, recognition, and collaboration among team members, clients, and other stakeholdersRepresent and position the GRS team as a leader and partner in the market, by showcasing and sharing achievements, insights, and best practices, and by producing thought leadership papers/articles and participating in relevant client and industry events, networks etcEXPERIENCEWhat You BringIn addition to indisputably high attention to detail, ethical standards and autonomy, the ideal candidate possesses the following:At least three years' experience within a fund registration role though other suitable candidates, particularly with a listing, legal, regulatory and/or compliance background, will be consideredA proven track record of leading and delivering and maintenance of cross-border marketing projects of both onshore and offshore funds in a legal or professional services environment, or a relevant industry sectorA strategic and creative mindset, with the ability to generate and evaluate new ideas, solutions, and business modelsA collaborative and inclusive approach, with the ability to engage and influence at all levels, both internally and externallyA hands-on and agile attitude, with the ability to manage multiple projects, resources, and risks in a fast-paced and dynamic environmentA passion for learning and staying abreast of emerging developments, trends, technologies, and best practices relating to cross-border marketing of investment funds and client service deliveryBENEFITS & REWARDSThe most enduring professional relationships are reciprocal relationships.
