Mechanical Design Engineer - Entry Level / 1-2yrs exp. Opportunity

Responsibilities Include:
6. Preparation of specs, drawings and technical details for customers.
7. Direction and co-ordination of prototypes manufacture.
8. Liaison with R&D to improve efficiency's
9. Optimising design to the customer specification.
10. Preparation of instructions and drawings for use on the factory floor.
11. Preparation, control and updating technical specifications
12. Working with production to ensure design specifications are achieved
Requirements:
13. Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
14. Working with design packages, CREO, etc
15. Preferable experience in a manufacturing environment/manufacturing best practice
16. Experience with internal standards and quality conformance metrics
17. Highly proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word
18. Requirement to both work on-site and to travel for business.
19. Previous SAP experience preferable.
20. Full clean driving license preferable.

21. A degree-qualified Mechanical Engineer (or similar), ideally with some exposure to design work (internships, co-ops, or 1-2 years' experience).
22. Passionate about engineering and eager to learn in a fast-paced, high-tech environment.
