An exciting opportunity has opened up for an Environmental Health & Safety Lead to join a fast-paced and dynamic food production site in Naas, Co. Kildare. This role offers the chance to take real ownership of day-to-day EHS operations while working closely with senior management to drive site-wide safety initiatives.
What You'll Be Doing:
* Leading the daily operations of the EHS department
* Updating risk assessments and safety documentation
* Investigating incidents and ensuring follow-up actions
* Managing internal audits, inspections, and regulatory readiness
* Coordinating and delivering safety training across the site
* Supporting a proactive, high-performing safety culture
What We're Looking For:
* A Level 8 qualification in Health & Safety (or related)
* 3-5 years’ experience in manufacturing or a high-risk environment
* Strong communication and reporting skills
* Certified Manual Handling Instructor, Occupational First Aider, and Train the Trainer (ideal)
* A motivated, detail-oriented safety advocate who can lead and influence
