The Role:
Ballymaloe House Hotel is currently seeking a dedicated, experienced full-time Maintenance Manager to oversee the day-to-day maintenance operations of the Hotel.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in a similar maintenance or facilities management role, along with strong technical knowledge across plumbing, electrical, mechanical and general building maintenance.
Excellent communication skills are essential, as is the ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively under pressure.
A solid understanding of health and safety regulations is required, and relevant qualifications or certifications in building services or maintenance would be advantageous.
Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Coordinating and carrying out repairs, maintenance and preventative maintenance tasks
Ensuring compliance with health and safety standards and regulations
Managing external contractors and service providers when required
Maintaining accurate maintenance logs, records and reports
Working collaboratively with other departments to address maintenance needs promptly
Monitoring and maintaining all equipment, systems and infrastructure to ensure optimal performance
Attend training when required and adhere to all Health & Safety procedures.
This is a full-time role and weekend work will be required.
The candidate must be legally eligible to work in Ireland.
