Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Water Infrastructure Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering new and upgrading wastewater network improvements in the Baile na nGall area in Waterford.
Main Responsibilities:
* Supervise and manage a programme of work to deliver wastewater projects on behalf of Uisce Éireann.
* Evaluate and approve works being carried out to meet Employer's Requirements.
* Implement health and safety policies and standards on construction projects.
* Review and comment on project/site specific HSQE documentation, e.g. RAMS, TMP etc.
* Monitor compliance with contract health and safety requirements and contractor's proposals.
* Ensure accurate reporting and follow up on health and safety issues.
Requirements:
* At least 10 years' experience in on-site supervision, contract administration, and project management of civil engineering works, including water or wastewater projects.
* A degree in a related discipline, such as Civil Engineering.
* Strong knowledge and experience of Health and Safety procedures and regulations.
* Satisfactory knowledge of construction contracts, experience in FIDIC and Public Works forms of contract would be advantageous.
* A current and valid SafePass card is essential.
