Pharmacist Lead for Medication Governance
The Pharmacist Lead will oversee the development and implementation of pharmaceutical care strategies to enhance patient outcomes.
* Develop, review and maintain medication policies, procedures, protocols and guidelines within a hospital setting.
* Manage the safe introduction of new medications onto the formulary, ensuring cost-effectiveness and optimal patient care.
* Lead the management of stock shortages, leveraging expertise to ensure continuity of supply.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on expanded access or compassionate use programs.
Ideal candidates will possess substantial post-registration experience in hospital pharmacy practice, coupled with strong leadership skills and team management expertise. They should be able to demonstrate exceptional planning, organisational and resource management abilities, as well as experience in change management and quality improvement initiatives.
