Bookkeeper Job Opening

We are currently seeking a skilled Bookkeeper to join our accounts and payroll team.


About the Role:

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who have experience in bookkeeping and payroll processing. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for managing daily, weekly, and monthly bookkeeping tasks for clients across various sectors.

You will also prepare and submit VAT returns, perform bank reconciliations, and maintain financial records using platforms such as Surf, Sage, QuickBooks, and Xero. In addition, you will process payroll for clients using Thesaurus or BrightPay and ensure all submissions meet Revenue deadlines and compliance standards.

Responsibilities:

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need strong Excel skills, including formulas and formatting. You should also be comfortable working across multiple accounting/payroll software platforms and have excellent attention to detail and data accuracy.

A minimum of 1-2 years' experience in a bookkeeping or payroll support role within a practice is required, as well as high IT literacy and ability to quickly adapt to new systems. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, along with excellent time management and a commitment to quality work.
