Job Overview:
The Environmental Health Professional plays a pivotal role in ensuring site safety and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities:
* Develop the EHS strategy for the site, identifying key projects to drive results.
* Report quarterly on performance indicators to stakeholders.
* Lead incident investigation processes, reporting to corporate bodies as required.
* Collaborate with operations teams to implement corrective actions.
* Provide technical assistance to subsidiary sites in Ireland.
* Monitor legislation changes and advise management on compliance.
* Manage site certifications (ISO 45001, 14001) and coordinate key activities and audits.
* Reduce the site's carbon footprint through energy, waste, water, and refrigerant loss reduction initiatives.
Requirements:
* A degree in Health and Safety or equivalent qualification.
* 5+ years' experience in manufacturing facility operations is preferred.
* Proven knowledge of workplace EHS practices.
* Excellent communication skills and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
