R&D Innovator
We are seeking an innovative professional to join our team as a R&D Innovator. As an R&D Innovator, you will provide technical support to product and process development and field-related activities such as clinical programs and complaint investigations.
Responsibilities:
* Product and Process Development: Concept generation, presentation, prototyping, and development of medical devices.
* Project management of all developments to ensure commitments are achieved, including functional prototypes, delivery dates, design iteration samples, test protocols, and reports, project costs, and other project deliverables.
* Evaluate and implement solutions that ensure full compliance with quality, regulatory, health, and safety legislation.
* Transfer new products after design freeze to manufacturing areas, ensuring that the product and processes are fully developed to allow product/process verification/validation to begin.
* Provide comprehensive training to production, quality, and technical staff to ensure a smooth production start, including validations and records.
* Train and develop interns and other technical staff, assign tasks, and provide support and assistance to the development team.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes and achieve company goals.
Requirements:
* Third-level qualification in engineering or science, preferably mechanical or biomedical.
* 2-3 years of previous experience in a medical devices environment, knowledge of medical device products, and associated manufacturing processes.
* Demonstrate analytical problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Show creativity, willingness to learn, and explore new ideas.
* Be a self-starter, using initiative in most situations.
* Be a strong team player, able to work well in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
* Have strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing environments.
* High-level computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and MS Project.
