Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day operations on the construction site.
Supervise and coordinate subcontractors, trades, and labourers.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Monitor project progress and prepare regular reports for senior management.
Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders.
Ensure construction is carried out in accordance with design specifications and quality standards.
Manage materials, equipment, and site logistics.
Attend site meetings and provide input on scheduling, progress, and issues.
Maintain site records including diaries, progress photos, and safety logs.
Identify and resolve any issues or delays on site.
Experience
Proven experience as a Site Manager on construction projects.
Experience managing subcontractors and direct labour.
Strong understanding of construction methods, health & safety, and building regulations.
Skills and Competencies
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making ability.
High attention to detail and quality control.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to interpret drawings and technical documents.
Competence in project reporting and use of IT tools (e.g. MS Project, Excel).
