We are seeking an individual with experience in catering, chef roles, cafe management, or deli supervision. A senior deli staff member looking to take charge of a fresh deli department would also be an excellent fit.
The successful candidate will have proven management experience, organizing and supervising the work of others, fresh food knowledge, strong organizational skills, and a good understanding of food safety and HACCP principles.
Responsibilities include overseeing the running of the fresh food department, rostering, planning, making lunch schedules, and ensuring deadlines are met. Inventory and stock management are also key aspects of this role, as is working closely with stakeholders to get the best performance out of the department. Additionally, maintaining high standards across the business and managing team performance are essential duties.
