Medical Secretary (Patient Feedback & Support, Busy Medical Facility Dublin 12) €19.51 per hour Location: Busy medical facility, Dublin 12 Salary:€19.51 per hour Contract: Full-time, Monday to Friday (9am5pm) to February 2026 Key Responsibilities Act as a first point of contact for parents, guardians and patients with queries, complaints or compliments about healthcare services. Manage the departments phone lines and inbox, ensuring prompt and empathetic responses. Assist the Patient Feedback and Support Service team with complaint investigations and correspondence from start to finish. Record all communications and maintain accurate documentation throughout the process. Essential Requirements Strong administrative experience within a healthcare or public-sector setting. Excellent phone manner and IT proficiency (MS Office, Outlook). High level of empathy and discretion when handling sensitive information. Minimum of Leaving Certificate plus one of the following: NFQ Level 5/6 qualification in Office Administration, Business or Healthcare Administration Or equivalent Grade IV HSE administrative experience Desirable Requirements Prior experience in patient liaison, feedback, or complaints handling. Experience working in a hospital or large public-sector organisation. Typing speed of 55 wpm or higher. Strong organisational and communication skills.
