Key Responsibilities
Providing legal support and advice across all areas of the business.
Drafting, negotiating, reviewing and advising on a wide variety of commercial contracts.
Researching and advising the Lanas group in respect of compliance and regulatory requirements.
Develop precedent agreements.
Assist with company secretarial matters and compliance.
Ad hoc legal advice to various areas within the business including Human Resources, Sales, Operations and Marketing.
Managing contract repositories.
Reviewing and updating commercial contracts.
Contributing to global legal and compliance projects and initiatives.
Responsibility for security reviews and compliance.
Consider, evaluate and advise the product team in respect of any legal and regulatory requirements for new products or developments; and
Other administrative and ad hoc duties.
Requirements
A qualified solicitor with minimum 3 years’ experience;
Strong written and communication skills;
Experience in drafting and negotiating commercial contracts and corporate agreements;
Proven commercial awareness and pragmatism;
Strong attention to detail is required;
An understanding of finance agreements and arrangements;
Proven track record of working on your own initiative and as part of a team;
Ability to multi-task, prioritise work and manage time to maximise efficiency and to meet strict deadlines; and
In-house and data protection experience an advantage.
