Overview
The Operations Tech Analyst Programme (OA) is a 9‑month rotational programme for soon‑to‑be and recent graduates. It blends education, skill‑building, and exposure to Susquehanna and the financial services industry, preparing you for a full‑time role where you design and develop applications and processes for the operations department.
Our Programme
As an Operations Tech Analyst you will be exposed to the full life‑cycle of Susquehanna’s trading activity, gaining a fundamental understanding of the industry and trading environment in which Susquehanna operates. Trading Operations sits at the intersection of trading, technology, and external counterparties. Within the trading operations teams you will decompose problems into logical components and develop efficient technology solutions released to the desks. You and the team will be responsible for the full life‑cycle—Design, Build, Test and Maintain—of each application the Trading Operations Tech team takes ownership of. Through the rotations you will gain in‑depth exposure to all trading desks and business areas at Susquehanna, working with in‑house technology development teams and tactical teams. If you have a keen interest in financial markets, technology, and collaborating with traders this could be the role for you.
What’s In It For You
Education: Susquehanna’s in‑house education programme is widely recognised as being the best in the industry. You will attend regular seminars to learn about in‑house business, products, and tech (Excel, SQL, Python, etc.).
Support: You will be assigned a mentor from the trading operations team for each rotation and a buddy who was a previous Operations Tech Analyst to guide you.
Real Impact: You will develop solutions that are immediately implemented by the teams, giving you a tangible impact on the firm.
Culture: Our non‑hierarchical culture allows employees of every level to thrive. The environment is casual, collaborative and focused on continuous development.
Perks: Based in the heart of Ireland’s Financial Services Centre, close to Dublin’s city centre, our employees enjoy free onsite catering, a games room, a large in‑house gym, and other perks.
What We’re Looking For
Passion for Tech: Eager to apply your tech skills with Python, SQL, VBA or other programming languages. This role is up to 80% coding, so a flair for development work is essential.
