Job Title: Site Engineer
The role of the Site Engineer is pivotal in ensuring that all site operations are executed efficiently and effectively. This position involves overseeing the setting out of sites, dimensional control, and reviewing construction outputs to plan the most efficient sequence of operations with a focus on quality and technical advice.
Key Responsibilities:
* Setting up site layouts in accordance with contract drawings, specifications, and site surveys.
* Coordinating with stakeholders, including employers' representatives, suppliers, subcontractors, and statutory authorities to resolve technical issues and raise RFIs.
* Liaising with the purchasing department to ensure purchase orders accurately define the specified requirements.
* Contributing to inspection and test plans, and verifying that supply chain partners provide necessary test data to support contractual technical requirements.
* Maintaining drawing registers and ensuring sub-contractors use the latest version of contract records, while ensuring technical coordination.
Essential Qualifications and Skills:
* A relevant engineering qualification is required.
* The successful candidate will be articulate and numerate, capable of delivering reports both verbally and written in an objective and persuasive manner.
* They must demonstrate initiative and resilience.
* This individual should possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills and act independently and professionally.
