The Sous Chef will play a key leadership role within a busy, well-structured kitchen, supporting the Head Chef in daily operations, driving consistent standards, and contributing to menu development.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Sous Chef or a strong Senior Chef de Partie ready to step up.

Opportunities for professional progression within a growing hospitality business Creative involvement in menu and specials development Supportive and collaborative kitchen culture Training and skill development opportunities Staff meals and additional company perks Key Responsibilities: Support the Head Chef in managing day-to-day kitchen operations Lead the team during service and ensure high-quality food output across all sections Assist in menu planning, seasonal dish development, and specials Train, mentor, and supervise junior kitchen staff Ensure all food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards are strictly adhered to Manage stock levels, ordering, cost control, and waste reduction Work closely with front-of-house to maintain seamless service and guest satisfaction Uphold a positive and professional working environment Key Requirements: Previous experience as a Sous Chef or Senior CDP in a quality hotel, restaurant, or gastro-style venue Strong culinary ability and passion for seasonal, locally sourced produce Confident leader with excellent communication and organisational skills Ability to perform well under pressure while maintaining high standards Strong knowledge of HACCP, allergens, and kitchen best practice Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and peak periods Motivated, team-focused, and committed to continuous improvement
