Learning Technologist / Training Coordinator – Epic Electronic Health Records Programme
Duration: 4 months initially (extension likely)
Location: Dublin (hybrid – onsite as required)

A leading healthcare provider is undertaking a major Electronic Health Records (EHR) transformation and requires an experienced Learning Technologist / Training Coordinator to support the digital learning and training programme for a large‑scale hospital commissioning project.
This role plays a key part in ensuring clinical and operational staff are fully trained and digitally enabled ahead of a significant EHR go‑live. It is a hands‑on, fast‑paced position suited to someone who thrives in complex programmes and enjoys creating high‑quality digital learning experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and optimise the Learning Management System (LMS) to support training schedules, allocations and reporting.
Develop and maintain digital learning content (video, animation, image‑based learning, PDFs, eLearning modules).
Collaborate with subject matter experts to convert technical or clinical content into engaging digital learning material.
Produce training dashboards and reports with support from the LMS vendor and internal data teams.
Promote and champion digital learning across the organisation.
Support curriculum delivery, digital learning workflows and day‑to‑day training operations.
Contribute to the readiness activities for the commissioning of a new hospital facility.
Experience Required
Strong demonstrable experience working with LMS platforms in a large organisation.
Background in digital learning, instructional design, eLearning development or learning technology.
Experience supporting large training programmes, ideally within healthcare or another highly regulated setting.
Proficiency with content creation tools (video editing, animation, image manipulation, authoring tools etc.).
Comfortable working in a dynamic environment with multiple stakeholders and evolving timelines.
Ability to work onsite in Dublin when required for programme activities.
