The Role:
* You will be a regional sales rep capable of taking responsibility for all our customers in Munster and South Leinster reporting back to our sales manager in our head office.
* Travel to our existing and potential customers within the Munster and south Leinster regions on a continuous basis will be an essential part of the role. This will entail attending customers premises in our show van
* You will be responsible for helping to set and achieve the targets for our sales growth and seek continuous improvements to service
* Ensure that all relevant market information is gathered, communicated and actioned so that new sales are delivered
* Follow up all sales contacts and, where necessary, resolve complaint issues with the direction and support from the sales team in head office
* Identify new business opportunities within the market and take personal responsibility for closing those opportunities out
* You will be expected to attend sales meetings in the Dundalk head office on a monthly basis and, when appropriate, arrange to meet with customers in our Dundalk show room
* Taking a lead role in preparing for and delivering a successful performance at trade shows
The Person
You are a "people person" passionate about setting and achieving goals and this must be evident to your customers and colleagues. You are a team player, a good communicator and are an organised individual. You can demonstrate sound judgement and can operate in a busy working environment. You can identify and focus on key priorities and follow any given task to its conclusion.
You should have at least 3 years' experience in a similar sales or a customer facing role with a full driver's license. Proficiency in Microsoft office and knowledge of stock inventory packages would be an advantage.
An attractive remuneration package will be offered to the successful candidate depending on qualifications and experience.
