Due to expansion we currently have an opening for a Maintenance Technician to join our successful and growing business. This is a permanent full time position.You will report to the Engineering Manager.You will be required to cover all aspects of Engineering on site, ensuring that equipment, services and utilities are available to meet Production and legislative/legal requirements.Responsible for installing, maintaining and carrying out improvements to all equipment.Ensure a quick response to breakdowns and call outs.Communicate with all departments and ensure smooth running of all operations.Follow Health and Safety, Quality and Hygiene standards.Ensure Maintenance Logs and Schedules are completed correctly and on time.Stock control of necessary parts.Assist with any projects as required by Engineering Manager.Any other duties requested by the Engineering Manager.Requirements:Completed an Engineering Apprenticeship with relevant mechanical/electrical qualification.Knowledge of PLC's would be advantageous.Previous experience working in a Food Factory.Experience working on mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.Be able to work in a fast paced environment.Problem solver.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Works well under pressure.Driving license and own transport.Individuals seeking career progression.Job Types: Full-time, PermanentWork Location: In person
