Senior Cardiac Physiologist Role Overview
This critical position involves partnering with the healthcare sector to develop and support cardiac diagnostic services within community and hospital settings.
The Senior Cardiac Physiologist will be responsible for managing their caseload, assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating cardiac diagnostic services according to established service standards and best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform ECGs, interpretation, and analysis.
* Conduct Physiologist Managed Exercise Stress Testing (in accordance with British Society protocols).
* Fit and analyze ambulatory ECG and BP recordings.
* Monitor event recorders and perform trans-thoracic echocardiography.
* Assist with Transoesophageal echocardiography and provide training to junior staff members.
