Logistics Manager
We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Logistics Manager to join our team in Cork. This critical role will drive the logistics and growth of our business.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage Warehouse Operations: Ensure service levels, efficiency, and cost control in warehouse operations.
* Oversee Staffing and Workflows: Manage staffing, workflows, equipment utilisation, and facility capacity to meet operational KPIs targets.
* Drive Continuous Improvement: Implement continuous improvement initiatives and standardise best practices across all sites.
* Build Strong Relationships: Establish strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to support operational success.
* Ensure Compliance: Ensure compliance with all safety, regulatory, and operational standards, including readiness for audits.
* Manage Performance: Manage performance across regional teams, including KPIs, budgeting, forecasting, and asset control.
Required Skills:
* Leadership Experience: Strong leadership experience in logistics operations is essential.
* Supplier Management: Background dealing with Third-party suppliers or similar environments is required.
* Analytical Skills: Ability to analyse performance data, manage budgets, and drive operational improvements.
* Communication Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management.
* Operational Systems: Proficient with operational systems, reporting tools, and technology used in logistics environments.
* Problem-Solving: Skilled in problem-solving, decision-making, and creating structured solutions in fast-paced settings.
