As we continue to grow our team and elevate the Cornstore experience, we are now seeking an Assistant Manager to join our leadership team.
About the Role
As Assistant Manager, you will support the General Manager in overseeing day-to-day operations, leading a motivated front-of-house team, and delivering the high standard of service that Cornstore is known for.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone passionate about hospitality, people development, and creating memorable guest experiences.
You will be a natural leader who thrives in a busy environment, enjoys developing talent, and is committed to fostering a positive team culture.
Key Responsibilities
Support the GM in the smooth daily operation of the restaurant.
Lead, motivate, and coach the front-of-house team to deliver exceptional service.
Maintain Cornstore's standards of hospitality, presentation, and guest care.
Assist with scheduling, training, and performance management.
Oversee floor service during peak shifts and ensure efficient table management.
Handle guest queries, issues, or feedback in a professional, solution-focused manner.
Uphold company standards in health, safety, compliance, and hygiene.
Work closely with kitchen and bar teams to maintain seamless communication.
Contribute to building a strong, engaged, and positive workplace culture.
What We're Looking For
Previous supervisory or assistant management experience in hospitality.
A passion for genuine service, teamwork, and guest satisfaction.
Strong communication and leadership skills.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
