Bologna Health Jobs Ireland, an HSE-approved company, is seeking family doctors for primary health centers.
In Ireland, primary care centers are based on a public-private partnership.
That is, most are private practices and are privately managed, but they receive HSE funding through contracts to serve patients in the public system (for example, with a medical card).
How does a primary health center work in Ireland if you are a patient?
There are 2 options:
• Medical Card: Allows free access to many services, including care in health centers.
Typically, for patients on low incomes or in certain medical situations.
• GP Visit Card: Covers visits to the family doctor, but not other services.
• People without a card must pay per consultation (usually between €50-€70).
As a doctor, it is a very good opportunity to pursue an international career and business management skills, as in many cases you become a partner in your own health center.
Therefore it is the only English-speaking country in the EU with stable and long-term contracts.
There are two job options:
Daytime hours: 8 am - 5 pm, Monday to FridayOut-of-hours (OOH) surgeries: from 5-6 pm.
Not emergencies
OOH (from 5-6 pm):
Work location: In healthcare centers.***** minutes per patient, all patients are by appointment.A driver and car are provided for patient visits.
THERE ARE NOT EMERGENCIES; THE HEALTH CENTERS IN IRELAND CLOSE AT 5 PM
Salary: €80/hour (company setup) or €75/hour (employee).
The schedule in this case is flexible, with only 2-3 night shifts per month.
Starting at 5 pm.
You can work hours per week.
Estimated annual earnings: €140,*******,000 (company setup).
Monthly earnings range from €10,******,000 per month directly from the bank.
Contract: Minimum 1 year of guaranteed services - open contract
BHJ will assist with the entire IMC registration process- BHJ will assist with all relocation issues, such as obtaining a PPS (social security number), and the entire process in general.
Training and shadowing sessions are offered before starting work.

Daytime work:
Salary:Between €100,*******,000 per year, depending on the number of weekly sessions.The net salary would be between €5,*****,500/month after taxes, depending on the number of sessions and personal tax situation.
For example, if you work 40 hours a week, you'll earn about €6,500/month net at the bank.

Basic requirements for both positions:
Doctors must be qualified within the EU and have a specialty in family medicine.
- Doctors with extensive experience as family doctors who are not fully qualified but have recently practiced as GPs for four years in a European country are also eligible to apply.
- Experience and training in pediatrics, obstetrics, gynecology, emergency medicine, psychiatry, etc. are also eligible to apply.
EU citizen status or Stamp 4 status is required.
- C1 English level.
Registration with the Irish Medical Council is recommended at the time of application, but is not mandatory, as we can assist you with the registration process.
You will need liability insurance from an Irish or English private insurance company (in the case of OOH).
BHJ will help you with this and connect you with the companies that offer the best service.
English proficiency must be at least C1 level, with the ability to communicate and write correctly in English.
No formal qualifications are currently required.
