We are currently seeking a dedicated operative to join our fast-paced warehouse team. This is an exciting opportunity to support manufacturing and distribution operations.
As an operative, you'll be responsible for day-to-day warehouse activities, including goods receipt, stock management, order picking, and dispatch.
Key Responsibilities:
* Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials and equipment.
* Pick, pack, and dispatch items accurately and efficiently.
* Maintain up-to-date stock records using internal stock control systems.
* Ensure the warehouse is organized, clean, and compliant with health and safety standards.
* Liaise with other departments to support operational flow.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in a warehouse or stores role, ideally in engineering or manufacturing.
* Basic IT proficiency and familiarity with stock control or inventory management systems.
* Forklift license and experience operating warehouse equipment (preferred).
* Valid Manual Handling certificate.
* A proactive, team-oriented approach with strong attention to detail.
