Position: Marketing Executive
Reporting to: MarComms manager

About the Role
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, balancing digital creativity with event planning excellence.
You will work closely with the Marcomms Manager and the wider Marketing team, and our academic team to manage content creation, build engagement across multiple platforms, and deliver professional, impactful events and webinars.
In addition, you will support academic teams with ad hoc print and marketing collateral requests to ensure consistency and quality across all outputs.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media
Support the Marcomms Manager in planning, creating, and publishing engaging content across all platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, X, YouTube, Reddit, Threads, etc.).
Maintain and update the content calendar to align with campaigns and college events.
Monitor channels daily, respond to messages/comments, and foster active community engagement.
Analyse performance metrics and prepare reports with actionable insights to improve reach, engagement, and conversion.
Conduct competitor reviews and creative analysis, providing recommendations for growth.
Test and report on emerging channels and features (e.g., Reddit, Threads, TikTok features).
Manage and encourage positive reviews across online platforms.
Work with internal teams (sales, academics, alumni, students) to generate authentic and relevant content.
Events
Plan, promote, and deliver both online and in-person events for all colleges, including open days, webinars, nationwide orientation days, graduation ceremonies, conferences, exhibitions, and networking sessions.
End to end execution including digital advertising.
Manage logistics such as venue booking, catering, AV, suppliers, promotional materials, and on-the-day coordination.
Liaise with guest speakers, partners, and sponsors to ensure professional event execution.
Collaborate with the Marketing team to drive attendance through campaigns and social media promotion.
Provide hands-on, on-the-ground support at events across the country.
Collect and analyse feedback to inform improvements for future events.
Build positive relationships with students, alumni, and academic teams to enhance event engagement.
Print & Marketing Support
Manage ad hoc print requirements from academic and operations teams (brochures, flyers, signage, orientation packs, etc.).
Ensure brand consistency across all print and digital outputs.
Liaise with suppliers to manage timelines, quality, and budgets.

Skills & Experience Required
Degree in Marketing, Communications, Events, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
1–3 years' experience in social media management and/or event coordination.
Excellent copywriting, storytelling, and content creation skills.
Proficiency in social media tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social, Meta Business Suite).
Experience with Canva and video editing software is desirable.
Strong organisational and multitasking skills with keen attention to detail.
Confident, proactive communicator with strong stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative, fast-moving team.
Flexibility to travel and work occasional evenings/weekends for events.
