Job Title: Product Owner (Technical - FinTech)

Salary: 80-95K DOE + benefits package
About the Role: Hiring on behalf of a client seeking an experienced Technical Product Owner to own the backlog for a market-leading payments orchestration platform serving multi-channel acquiring (eCommerce, PoS, MOTO). You'll drive new feature delivery and platform evolution in a fast-growing, established FinTech environment while acting as the voice of the customer inside an Agile squad.
Key Responsibilities
1. Translate product roadmap into detailed Epics, user stories and acceptance criteria.
2. Prioritise backlog (new features + technical debt) in collaboration with Commercial, Finance, Engineering and UX teams.
3. Act as primary liaison between Sales, stakeholders and the Scrum team to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
4. Present progress, KPIs and risks to executive leadership and steering committees.
5. Continuously refine requirements, manage dependencies and mitigate risks.
6. Drive sprint planning, reviews and backlog grooming.
7. Contribute to process improvement and innovation within the wider Product & Innovation function.
Requirements
8. 3+ years as Product Owner in FinTech / Payments.
9. Deep domain knowledge of multi-channel payments processing and acquiring (eCommerce, Point-of-Sale, Mail/Telephone Order).
10. Proven experience with payments orchestration, gateway integrations or similar platforms.
11. Strong Agile/Scrum practitioner (writing stories, running ceremonies, backlog management).
12. Degree in IT, Computer Science or related field.
13. Comfortable presenting complex technical & commercial updates to C-suite.
14. Exceptional stakeholder management, influence without authority and communication skills.
15. Self-starter who thrives under pressure in a high-growth environment.
