Legal Compliance Professional Wanted

We seek a detail-focused Legal Compliance Officer to join our organization on a 12-month fixed-term contract.
This role is ideal for candidates with extensive experience in financial services, audit, governance, and related administrative roles.
Liaising with regulatory bodies, including HIQA, AHBRA, RTB, HFA, lenders, and local authorities, will be crucial to this position.
Key responsibilities include:
* Maintaining and updating the risk management system
* Monitoring policy compliance and ensuring policies are reviewed and updated
* Supporting the risk register and scheduled risk reviews
* Preparing reports for senior management and sub-committees; attending meetings and taking minutes
* Managing regulatory updates, including data protection updates and breaches
* Assisting with internal audits in collaboration with external providers
* Supporting asset protection and care-home compliance
As a Legal Compliance Officer, you will be responsible for:
1. Liaising with regulators to ensure compliance with relevant regulations
2. Maintaining accurate records of regulatory updates and compliance activities
3. Providing support to internal audits and assisting with the implementation of recommendations
4. Developing and implementing compliance strategies to mitigate risks
5. Collaborating with stakeholders to ensure effective communication and knowledge sharing
