Barista Skills: Be extremely capable of preparing and serving all espresso-based drinks, to the highest standard of taste and presentation.
Customer Service Skills: Provide a warm, friendly, and efficient service experience, taking orders accurately, handling payments, and communicating with customers with a positive attitude.
Additional Duties: Supporting all areas internally and externally of the coffee dock, maintaining high levels of presentation and serving. Ensuring tables are cleared and that display units are fully stocked and appealing.
Cleanliness & Hygiene: Maintaining the cleanliness of the entire coffee dock area, adhering strictly to food safety and hygiene policies and procedures.
Essential Requirements:
* Proven Barista Experience: Experienced barista with proven track record of specialty coffee preparation (grinding, extraction, milk texturing, latte art fundamentals).
* Customer-Focused: A genuine enthusiasm for providing excellent customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere for every customer.
* Speed & Efficiency: Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure, maintaining quality standards at busy periods.
* Reliability: Excellent time management and reliability, with the ability to work using own initiative. Must be a morning person
* Work Independently as well as being a Team Player: Being able to work alone and as part of a team wherever needed.
Hours ideal for work/life balance. Role is over 4 days (Monday - Thursday)
