Job Title: Operations Manager
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Operations Manager to join our team. As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our organization, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Strategic Management: Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve organizational goals and objectives.
• Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks to the organization, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Taxation: Manage expenditure related taxes, including Professional Services Withholding tax (PSWT), intrastate, VAT, Revenue Enhanced Reporting Requirements (ERR), and Relevant Contracts Tax (RCT).
• Training: Lead training and development on systems for finance staff and other staff to ensure compliance with finance policies.
• Procurement: Implement policies, including oversight of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) commitments and compliance.
• Continuous Improvement Projects: Lead financial operational projects for business process improvement, including system implementations to drive automation and innovation using Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Business Intelligence (BI) initiatives and Quality Enhancement Office (QEO) plans.
Requirements:
• Third-level qualification in a relevant field.
• Qualifications in project management and lean training or equivalent.
• Relevant industry experience working in an Operations Manager or Accounts Payable Manager role within a high-volume, multi-department, international organization is essential.
• Knowledge of Irish, EU, and international taxes.
• Strong management and leadership capabilities with excellent influencing, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to focus and deliver results.
• Flexibility to work in a changing environment.
• Ability to work on their own initiative and as part of a team.
