About the Role
This is a unique opportunity to join our team as a Customer Support Engineer based close to Dublin, Ireland.
We are seeking a talented and experienced professional to provide exceptional customer support and ensure the highest levels of satisfaction with our services.
Main Responsibilities:
* Provide timely and effective technical assistance to customers, troubleshooting complex electro-optical and electro-mechanical equipment at their sites.
* Represent the company to the customer, ensuring accountability for customer satisfaction with service delivery.
* Coordinate actions with customers to minimize downtime and optimize overall performance.
* Prepare detailed field service reports on customer support activities, providing documentation to relevant functions on recurring issues.
* Interface with technical support, headquarters engineering, and manufacturing engineering teams to develop and implement maintenance procedures and enhance equipment reliability.
Requirements:
* Possess good practical skills in electronic, electrical, pneumatic, optical, and fine mechanical assemblies.
* Ability to read and work with engineering drawings, schematics, and technical manuals.
* Demonstrate excellent analytical problem-solving skills and effective communication and presentation skills.
* Possess a strong command of the English language (written and spoken).
* Hold a Level 7/8 degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
* An internship or short working experience in the semiconductor industry is an asset.
* Availability for limited travel to other European sites and extensive training periods in the USA or Asia.
* Proficiency in MS Office tools.
