**Job Title:** Mechanical Engineer
**Overview:**
We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to lead and support the planning and execution of engineering projects within manufacturing environments. This role requires technical expertise, strong project coordination skills, and flexibility to travel abroad.
**Key Responsibilities:***
1. Lead and support the planning and execution of both minor and major engineering projects within manufacturing environments.
2. Coordinate site teams and external contractors during the installation and commissioning of equipment, ensuring all work meets design and safety standards.
3. Prepare engineering drawings, documentation, and reports in accordance with company procedures and project requirements.
4. Provide technical support and troubleshooting to manufacturing sites, identifying recurring issues and implementing long-term solutions.
5. Undertake specific engineering assignments as delegated by the Global Engineering Project Managers, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
6. Ensure compliance with ISO, and 50001 standards, as well as CE marking and other applicable certifications.
7. Actively promote and uphold the company's health, safety, environmental, and compliance standards in all project activities.
8. Participate in compliance training, report any non-conformances, and support continuous improvement initiatives across the organisation.
**Requirements:***
1. Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Manufacturing, or related discipline) or equivalent hands-on experience.
2. Strong technical understanding with proven ability to interpret and produce 2D and 3D engineering drawings.
3. Excellent organisational and time-management skills, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
4. Analytical and problem-solving mindset, with a proactive and adaptable approach to challenges.
5. Effective communicator, able to collaborate confidently with colleagues, contractors, and stakeholders.
6. Competent in standard PC and engineering software tools.
7. A committed team player who can also work independently when required.
8. Flexible attitude to global travel and variable working hours as project demands require.
