Warehouse Operative Job Description
As a Warehouse Operative, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient handling, storage, and dispatch of goods. This role involves working as part of a team to maintain a safe and organized warehouse environment.
* Loading and Unloading: Load and unload deliveries using manual handling or equipment as required.
* Receiving and Storing: Receive, check, and store incoming stock accurately and efficiently.
* Maintaining Warehouse Environment: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment at all times.
* Operating Equipment: Operate warehouse equipment (pallet trucks, scanners, etc.)-training provided if needed.
* Conducting Stock Checks: Conduct regular stock checks and report discrepancies promptly.
* Health and Safety Procedures: Follow all health, safety, and quality control procedures at all times.
* Supporting Team Leads: Support team leads and supervisors with daily tasks and operational requirements.
Requirements
* Previous Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is highly desirable.
* Physical Fitness: Good physical fitness and ability to lift heavy loads.
* Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and accuracy when performing tasks.
* Communication Skills: Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
