Supply Chain Planner / Buyer – Sligo
We are seeking a Supply Chain Planner/Buyer to support production planning, material supply, purchasing, and inventory control at a leading nutrition manufacturing facility in Sligo.
Key Responsibilities
1. Manage MPS/MRP for raw materials, intermediates, and finished goods.
2. Oversee purchasing to ensure materials align with production schedules.
3. Coordinate materials and purchasing activities for New Product Introductions (NPIs).
4. Maintain accurate BOM and Item Master data.
5. Serve as primary contact for the distribution centre and liaise with transport partners.
6. Manage inventory levels, including cycle counting and KPI performance.
7. Schedule deliveries based on warehouse capacity.
8. Support operational and supply chain improvement projects.
Requirements
9. Certificate/Diploma/Degree in Supply Chain, Purchasing, or a related field.
10. APICS/IPICS/IIPMM qualifications are an advantage.
11. Minimum 2 years' experience in production planning within manufacturing (short shelf-life products preferred).
12. Strong problem-solving skills in scheduling, logistics, and purchasing.
13. Excellent planning, computer proficiency, communication, and attention to detail
