Child Counsellor
Deliver impactful counselling services to young individuals, working on a sessional basis.
Key Responsibilities:
* Abide by the professional code of ethics and relevant accrediting body standards.
* Participate in regular supervision while providing therapy sessions.
* Ensure complete and signed consent forms from parents are obtained.
* Conduct initial assessments, gathering essential information as necessary.
* Prepare comprehensive reports summarizing interventions and strategies applied.
* Implement robust data protection protocols to safeguard sensitive information.
* Collaborate in quality assurance exercises and support evaluation processes.
Requirements:
* Hold a Level 7 qualification (primary degree) or higher in a human science discipline.
* Possess a recognised qualification in counselling or psychotherapy, or full accredited membership with a professional body.
* Have at least two years' supervised experience delivering counselling services to children.
* Maintain valid professional indemnity insurance and operate as a registered business entity.
