Meeting & Events Coordinator
A seamless transition from M&E to Operations, and from M&E back to Sales is ensured by this role.
The Meeting and Events Executive takes full responsibility for the successful production of assigned events through coordination with the customer, sales team, and hotel departments.
* Plans and manages events and weddings, integrating team-based service to achieve a successful event.
* Coordinates and communicates verbally and in writing with the customer and hotel operations the details of the event.
* Attains and provides post-event feedback.
Main Responsibilities:
* Maintains the customer relationship from initial handover to return to Sales for reconciliation.
* Is accountable for customers' experiences throughout the entire event process.
* Greets the customer during the event phase and hands over to Operations for execution of details.
Key Skills:
* Ability to forecast group rooms and catering.
* Manage group room blocks and meeting space effectively.
* Knowledge of menu planning, food presentation, and banquet/event service standards.
