Instrumentation Specialist
This role is responsible for designing and implementing effective instrumentation solutions for biopharmaceutical process and utilities systems.
A typical day in this position might include:
* Evaluating and specifying cGMP instrumentation for new installations and upgrades, including instrument components and spare parts.
* Providing technical guidance to the calibration operations team and supporting regulatory body inspections and audits.
* Implementing corrective actions for existing instrumentation and working knowledge of process automation control systems.
* Conducting troubleshooting and root cause analysis for complex instrumentation and associated systems.
* Maintaining configuration specifications for cGMP manufacturing instrumentation and assisting in equipment design reviews.
* Reviewing and approving wiring diagrams for instrumentation and associated control systems.
* Preparing engineering evaluations and test plans for change control documentation.
Requirements:
* BEng/BS degree and 5+ years of experience for Senior Engineer level or 8+ years for Principal Engineer level.
* Strong analytical and organizational skills and good written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
* Experience with Biopharmaceutical Process & Utilities systems is preferred.
