🛠️ Role: Director-Strategy & Operations (APAC & EMEA)

Duties and Responsibilities

The Director of Strategy and Operations for the EMEA and APAC regions will be a pivotal leadership role responsible for driving strategic initiatives, optimizing operational efficiency, and ensuring robust business health across these diverse and dynamic markets. This role requires a strategic thinker with a hands‑on approach to operations, capable of translating high-level vision into actionable execution. The successful candidate will serve as a key supportive partner to the executive management team, overseeing comprehensive business functions from front-line operations to critical back‑office support, and ensuring alignment with global objectives.

Strategic Planning and Execution

* Regional Strategy Development: Lead the development and implementation of the strategic roadmap for the EMEA and APAC regions, aligning regional goals with the company's overall mission and vision.
* Market Analysis: Monitor market trends, competitive landscapes, and regulatory changes to identify new opportunities and mitigate potential risks across the regions.
* Initiative Execution: Drive the execution of key strategic initiatives, managing cross‑functional projects to ensure timely delivery and measurable outcomes.

Operations and Process Improvement

* Operational Efficiency: Identify, analyze, and optimize core operational processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service delivery across all functions.
* Process Excellence: Champion a culture of continuous improvement, utilizing methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma to streamline workflows and eliminate bottlenecks.
* Cross‑Functional Oversight: Ensure seamless coordination between various departments (e.g., Sales, Marketing, Finance, HR, IT) to support efficient and effective regional operations.

Management Support and Business Health Oversight

* Executive Partnership: Act as a key strategic advisor and supportive partner to senior management, providing data‑driven insights and recommendations to inform decision‑making.
* Performance Monitoring (KPIs): Define, track, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure business health and operational effectiveness across EMEA and APAC.
* Reporting & Analysis: Develop comprehensive dashboards and reports to provide transparency into regional performance, highlighting areas of success and those requiring intervention.
* Business Review Calls: Lead and participate in regular operations and support functions review calls, addressing operational challenges, aligning teams, and driving action items to resolution.

Function Management and Compliance

* End‑to‑End Responsibility: Ensure all functions operating within the EMEA and APAC scope, including front‑office, back‑office, and support functions, are running effectively and in compliance with company policies and local regulations.
* Back‑Office Oversight: Directly manage and optimize critical back‑office functions such as logistics, procurement, administration, and internal compliance processes.
* Issue Resolution: Serve as the primary escalation point for significant operational issues within the regions, ensuring prompt and effective resolution.


What we’re looking for:

* Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred. Minimum of 15+ years of experience in strategy and operations roles, with at least 5 years in a leadership position managing operations across multiple international regions (EMEA and/or APAC experience is highly preferred).
* Proven track record of strategic planning and large‑scale project execution.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable strategies.
* Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
* Deep understanding of operational processes, business functions, and performance metrics (KPIs).
* Strong problem‑solving capabilities and resilience in a fast‑paced environment.
* Travel: Ability to travel across the EMEA and APAC regions as required to support business needs.
