Overview
A global healthcare leader is seeking to hire an Operations Technician | Microbiology to join their growing team in Longford. This is an initial 12-month contract for the Weekend Day Shift only. Hours: Friday-Sunday 7am-7pm
Responsibilities
* CAPA/LIR: Initiation, authoring and approval of Laboratory Investigation Reports.
* CAPA actions assigned.
* Communications: Communicate and collaborate effectively within team.
* Documentation: Maintain relevant documents and records.
* Documentation: Complete archiving tasks for relevant documents and records as appropriate.
* Generic Basic Requirements: Provides input into the annual departmental budget, and department GMI Targets.
* Manage Product and Process Improvements: Participate in Project and Process improvement activities.
* Manage Product and Process Improvements: Suggests and implement process improvements within own work area that fosters a culture of continuous improvement.
* Manage Product and Process Improvements: Ensure that activities are completed within budget e.g. waste levels, per plan requirements.
Requirements
* Ideally a third level qualification in a science or similar discipline. Experience in Microbiology preferred but not essential.
* Strong communication skills.
* Attention to detail.
