They're looking for a
Regulatory Analyst
to help shape how the business responds to evolving energy, environmental, and market regulation across both the All-Island region. The role sits within the regulation function and works closely with commercial, trading, business development, and construction teams.
You'll analyse and interpret policy and regulatory developments affecting electricity, gas, carbon, and environmental markets. You'll assess their commercial and legal impact, identify risks and opportunities, and support internal stakeholders to define effective regulatory strategies.
What You'll Do
* Track and analyse energy, environmental, planning, and market regulation.
* Evaluate the commercial and legal impact of policy changes.
* Support engagement with regulators, government departments, and industry groups.
* Coordinate responses to consultations and help define regulatory strategy.
* Identify risks and opportunities to create value for the business.
* Work closely with commercial, trading, and development teams to align regulatory insight with business goals.
What You Bring
* 2 years of experience in energy policy, regulation, or market analysis.
* Strong grasp of the electricity sector; Single Electricity Market (SEM) experience is a plus.
* Self-motivated, adaptable and fast-thinking individual who thrives in a dynamic work environment and is curious about the energy industry.
* Analytical thinker with solid communication and stakeholder-management skills.
* Degree in business, economics, engineering, law, or a related field.
