About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team in a key role that combines wedding coordination, event management, and sales support.
Key Responsibilities:
* Build and maintain strong client relationships from initial enquiry to post-event follow-up.
* Maintain open communication with clients to understand their vision, preferences, and requirements.
* Plan, coordinate, and execute weddings, corporate meetings, and special events, ensuring seamless delivery.
* Collaborate with internal departments to ensure effective planning and execution.
* Prepare detailed event plans, budgets, proposals, and timelines, guaranteeing accuracy and cost control.
* Negotiate and manage vendor contracts, resolving any issues promptly.
* Oversee on-site setup, logistics, and event execution, acting as the main client contact throughout.
* Support sales initiatives by preparing proposals, reports, and presentations.
* Conduct market research to identify trends, competitors, and new business opportunities.
* Represent the organization at industry events and conferences.
* Maintain accurate CRM records, sales documentation, and financial tracking.
* Provide valuable feedback and insights to improve sales and event services.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess:
* Previous experience in weddings, events, or sales within hospitality or a related industry.
* Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.
* Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
* A creative, detail-oriented, and client-focused approach.
* Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with CRM or event management systems desirable.
* Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
