Project Manager Construction
A critical role for a seasoned professional adept at navigating consultancy environments and possessing in-depth knowledge of Irish contract law and project governance.
Key Responsibilities:
* Function as the primary client liaison, ensuring objectives, expectations, and governance requirements are met.
* Develop and implement robust project governance frameworks including change control, risk management, and financial reporting.
* Manage construction contracts (GCCC, RIAI), oversee certification, claims, and dispute resolution.
* Lead the procurement process for design teams and main contractors.
* Control budgets, supervise financial controls, and guarantee timely, within-budget project delivery.
* Coordinate multi-disciplinary design and construction teams, driving effective communication and decision-making.
* Oversee the design and quality review process, ensuring compliance with Building Regulations and Health & Safety standards.
Requirements:
* Degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or Architecture.
* Minimum 7+ years experience in project management, including 4+ at a senior or client-side level.
* Proven experience administering GCCC or RIAI contracts.
* Strong commercial awareness and understanding of the Irish construction market.
* Advanced skills in MS Project or similar scheduling tools.
* Excellent communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
