Job Overview: You will work as part of the software development/scrum team within our Financial Crime Solutions program, providing ongoing functional and technical, expertise and support to the development lifecycle.
Role: Analyze business and technical requirements to deliver a backlog for the development team.
Create features and stories, run backlog refinement meetings with the team and own prioritizing the backlog of stories.
Continuously monitor feature development adjusting throughout implementation as needed.
Close the gap between business, solution architects, and development teams.
Clear communication of functional and technical requirements to the development team and development concerns business stakeholders.
Identify key dependencies, risks and knock-on impacts of new development work and application enhancements.
Collaborate with development team on software solution designs.
Act as a technical consultant for Business Owners during implementation of new products/services.
Provide subject matter expertise for support escalations.
Review product and test plans against acceptance criteria for the feature set to ensure business and technical requirements are met.
Document and coordinate audit controls and PCI requirements.
About You: 5+ years of experience as a systems analyst.
Advanced skills in system analysis, documentation and requirement gathering.
Solid understanding of conceptual/architectural designs.
Strong technical knowledge and capability.
Good understanding of SAFe, Agile and Scrum methodologies.
Experience with any project tracking tools like JIRA/Rally/ADO.
Good understanding of database design and experience using SQL.
Experience designing APIs with JSON/XML and running APIs using tools like Postman.
High-energy, detail-oriented and proactive with the ability to function under pressure in an independent environment.
High degree of initiative and self-motivation with a willingness and ability to learn and take on challenging opportunities.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with strong organization skills.
Good understanding of Java, CI/CD, Cloud infrastructure (PCF/ AWS/ Azure), microservices architecture, data structures and experience in data extraction and analysis is highly advantageous.
Education: Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or Management Information Systems or equivalent combination of relevant experience and education.
