We are opening new Cafe in ringaskiddy Co. Cork.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
* Support the Head Chef in the overall management of the kitchen, including menu planning, food preparation, and service delivery.
* Supervise and motivate the kitchen team to ensure efficiency, consistency, and high-quality output.
* Ensure all dishes are prepared and presented to the highest standards while maintaining portion and waste control.
* Oversee food safety, hygiene, and HACCP compliance across all kitchen operations.
* Assist with stock management, ordering, and supplier relations to ensure cost-effective kitchen operations.
* Contribute to menu development and daily specials, bringing creativity and innovation to the food offering.
* Step in and manage the kitchen in the Head Chef's absence, ensuring seamless service.
Requirements
* Previous experience as a Sous Chef or Senior Chef de Partie in a busy, high-volume restaurant
* Strong culinary skills with a passion for quality food and seasonal ingredients.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
* A proactive and hands-on approach with the ability to work under pressure.
* In-depth knowledge of food safety and HACCP standards.
* Must be living in Ireland and have the right to work in the Republic of Ireland.
* Visa and relocation can be done
