About the Role
What You Will Do
Understand the technical aspects of BMS and EPMS products and services.
Provide technical support and guidance to clients during the sales process.
Prepare and present proposals, quotations, and contracts to clients.
Develop comprehensive bid proposals and present them to clients.
Identify new business opportunities and expand the customer base.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, understanding their needs, and providing tailored solutions.
Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for BMS and EPMS projects, including materials, labour, equipment, and subcontractor services.
Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to obtain competitive pricing for materials and services.
Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on project requirements and estimates.
Review project plans, specifications, and requirements to understand the scope and objectives.
Conduct site visits to gather detailed information and assess existing conditions where required.
Identify potential risks and challenges that may impact the project.
Analyse historical data and industry trends to inform cost predictions.
Collaborate with the technical team to ensure the sales strategy aligns with the company's technical capabilities.
Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the features and benefits of BMS solutions.
About the Person
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
Minimum of 1-3 years of experience within the BMS or construction industry.
Strong understanding of building management and electrical power monitoring systems products, services and market trends.
Proficiency in estimating software and tools, such as AutoCAD, Bluebeam, or equivalent.
Strong sales acumen with the ability to close deals and meet sales targets.
Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address client needs and manage complex sales processes.
Effective time management and organizational skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve common goals.
