Radiographer RIS/PACS Systems Manager
* Manage the technical aspects of RIS/PACS systems to ensure efficient image capture, storage, and retrieval.
* Liaise with IT teams for maintenance, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
Collaborate with radiographers to oversee the daily examination schedule and prioritize urgent cases. Ensure safe operation of diagnostic imaging equipment and associated devices.
* Lead the implementation of contingency plans for system downtime.
* Maintain a high level of radiation safety standards within the department.
Promote seamless communication between Radiology and other hospital services to optimize clinical processes.
* Foster close working relationships with the Radiation Protection Officer (RPO) and Radiation Protection Advisor (RPA).
* Develop and maintain effective relationships with radiography staff to achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) and drive departmental growth initiatives.
