Purpose of the Role: As a PR Executive, you will support the execution of consumer public relations strategies and campaigns that build brand love, trust, and visibility across our FMCG portfolio. This role requires an individual that is results driven, passionate about storytelling, media, influencers, the social media landscape and who wants to grow their PR career in a fast-paced, brand-led environment. Key Responsibilities: Press Materials & Content Support:Draft and edit press releases, media kits, Q&As, and briefing notes. Ensure all PR materials align with brand tone, messaging and guidelines. Media & Influencer Engagement:Help identify & build media & influencer relationships, selection and engagement. Manage influencer and ambassador partnerships to drive authentic brand storytelling and engagement. Maintain media lists and influencer databases. Support brand activities, campaign partnerships and media outreach and drops. Agency Management: Work with the PR management team to co-ordinate and manage agency outputs across all campaigns. Work with agencies to generate on trend/on pulse PR activities. Campaign Support:Work with the wider PR and marketing teams to support execution of integrated campaigns and sponsorships, including campaign asset management, social media amplification, and internal approvals and comms. Event & Experiential Management :Assist with planning and executing press events, campaign & product launches, influencer activations, and media briefings. Coordinate logistics and agency support. Issue Management: Work with the senior team to protect the brands public image and consumer reputation. Media Queries: Respond to media queries un a timely manner, with an aligned position from the business Media Monitoring & Coverage Tracking:Monitor daily press, blogs, and social media to track brand mentions, competitor activity, and consumer trends that SuperValu should be aware of/act upon. Compile and share regular coverage/activity reports. Admin & Stakeholder Coordination:Manage internal trackers, calendars, and coverage folders. Support coordination between internal teams, agencies, and other external partners. Internal Comms: Manage the delivery of relevant timely internal comms highlighting PR, Marketing andSponsorship activity. Monitoring Brand Sentiment:Use listening tools and media platforms to help assess consumer and media sentiment. Flag opportunities and risks in real time. Requirements: Degree in Communications, PR, Journalism, Marketing or related field. 23 years of relevant experience in a PR agency or in-house consumer brand environment. Excellent written/copywriting and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Interest in consumer trends, pop culture, digital media, and influencer marketing. Experience with media databases (e.g., Gorkana, Meltwater, Cision) is a plus. Positive, proactive attitude with a team-player mindset.
