Trade Counter Agent, you will be a key driver of sales success, focusing on cultivating and maximising customer relationships from our onsite trade counter. Working collaboratively within the Team, your role involves identifying customer needs, offering proactive face-to-face solutions, and strategically upselling and cross-selling from our product range. You will provide support in identifying merchandising opportunities and ensuring optimal stock profiles at the trade counter. You'll provide expert advice, conduct product searches, and bridge supplier part numbers using our website. RESPONSIBILITIES: Maximise sales revenues at the RS Local through cross selling and up-selling. Manage collection orders and maintain personnel availability in critical areas. Implement best practice stock management techniques, including regular stock-taking. Manage our local recalibration service. Manage local return service. Promote of our value proposition whist demonstrating a positive and helpful approach to customers at all times. Cultivate and develop positive relationships with customers to help maximise upselling and cross selling opportunities. QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS Previous experience in a retail environment or a related field. Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards. Good organisational and time-management skills. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Basic computer skills. Ability to work in a team and collaborate effectively with colleagues.
