Position Overview
We are seeking an organised and proactive part-time (up to 2 days per week - this can be tailored as half days or full days) Financial Accountant/Accounts Technician to join our team at Green Crowd.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting tasks, payroll, supporting the finance team, and assisting with accurate financial reporting and record-keeping.
The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with excellent organisational skills, a strong attention to detail, and a passion for sustainability.
Key Responsibilities
· Maintenance of accurate accounting records
· Processing purchase invoices and payments
· Monthly bank reconciliations and VAT returns
· Preparation of management accounts
· Ability to complete accounts up to trial balance
· Payroll
Qualifications and Experience
· Minimum of 2 years proven experience in a similar role
· Strong organisational and communication skills.
· Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
· Proficiency in Excel and accounting software.
This role is office based in Carlow.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: €*****-€***** per hour
Expected hours: 7 – 15 per week
