Accounting Manager - Dublin (EMEA Finance Hub)
Salesforce is currently seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to support the organization's strategy, growth, and operational excellence.
The role is located in our EMEA Finance hub in Dublin and will manage statutory and local compliance support for over 30 entities across Europe.
Responsibilities
Manage the preparation of statutory financial statements for selected countries, ensuring consistent and effective execution within agreed timelines.
Collaborate with the Controllership shared service center on US GAAP and local GAAP integrated systems of records and country controllers.
Work with internal business partners from the International Tax, Treasury, and Legal teams to gather necessary information.
Document all technical accounting positions supporting statutory financial statements.
Coordinate with external advisors and statutory auditors to provide required documentation and explanations for compliant, audited financial statements.
Prepare statutory year-over-year flux analyses and present findings to country controllers.
Monitor regulatory landscape for each country to anticipate changes and support country controllers with ad-hoc requests from stakeholders.
Support ad-hoc projects such as process improvements or system implementations.
Qualifications
CPA or equivalent recognized qualification.
3+ years of relevant experience in a fast-paced multinational environment for a publicly traded company or audit firm.
Knowledge of US GAAP and/or IFRS.
Experience managing local compliance obligations, including statutory accounts filings and tax (VAT) filings.
Experience in a multi-ledger environment and managing SOX compliance programs or equivalent country-specific control requirements.
Proficiency with major ERP systems and associated applications and interfaces.
Results-oriented, team-player mindset with the ability to work in a fast-growing, challenging environment.
Hands-on, decisive, and efficient work style.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
Proficiency in English, additional European language a plus.
